Yes people of color matter, ALL humans matter. Getting involved like this and the banner's wording is offensive in the extreme.
Just like Germany in 1939 you have now decided one group of people matter more than another. Discord was a great escape from the world of hate and anger and you have just forced that world back on to those of us who come here to escape for just a little bit.

Of course the black people in the mass are poorer than the white ones because they had little chances to get high education or a good job. This cycle of poverty is a tough problem which must be solved step for step for decades (and it has been going for decades already). But if a person (regardless of his skin tone) does not want to learn or work to make his life better, his opinion on the lifestyle must not be considered, must it? Is this the American way of life, isn't it? So why are discord managers pressured by these rioters? Seriously these riots rise EACH ELECTION YEAR? Seriously? Isn't it suspicious?

Ninetonine, if you read statistics carefully, you will find that black criminals are killed even more rarely than white ones, if calculated on ratio of total crimes. The real problem is that the blacks do more crimes because of their poverty, but as I noted above, this is the tough problem which is being worked out little by little already, and the recipe for their success is to learn, to work rather then looting, robbery or overracism. This is the universal and ultimate recipe which is good for any people regardless of their skin tone.

"this is their opinion" it's okay to have an opinion as an individual. but using your customer base as a political platform, and the money that customers pay you to bolster your political platform, is not okay. what if the banner said "kill all blacks?" is that okay to have as an opinion for a business? what about "hitler did nothing wrong?" would you still say "it's just their opinion?" "hoes mad?"
yeah, this is not okay. I made a similar post, I'm uninstalling discord soon as well.

Yes Black lives do matter. But if you're trying to say they matter MORE than other people, you might be promoting systemic racism. Here's the test: What happens if you replace the word Black with White? If you said White lives matter more than all other lives, you would immediately be accused of being KKK. Understand that and realize that if you say Black lives matter MORE than other people, you are actually promoting systemic racism.
