Update on this: The bug does not happen with the Snapd version of 62028 (89ee84d). However, the snap application obviously has permissions issues (being snap), so I'll keep looking for an alternative solution.

Further update on this: both the provided debian package and the provided tarball downloads have this problem. It seems the snap is the only one that doesn't haven these issues. I'm curious what the root cause is.

Can confirm, using the deb package on Ubuntu 20.04
Stable 62330 (912f791)
Host 0.0.10
Linux 64-Bit (5.4.0-39-Generic)1 -
This is still happening for me too.
Stable 64104 (11dae40)
Host 0.0.10
Linux 64-Bit (5.4.0-42-Generic)Also occurring with Spotify embeds. Will load for a few seconds and then go to grey. A system error popup will say that Discord has crashed but app remains open and responsive.

I get the inspector issue too but thought it might be a different error. Not very useful for trying to debug... :(

This issue still happens for me. It occurred back when I used the provided .deb on Discord, as well as on Arch Linux from pacman -S discord.
However, the issue seems to be gone in the Flatpak version, as well as on Discord Canary (64487-17303af, host 0.0.105)? Don't know why Discord hasn't ported these fixes to their .deb and tarball versions tho.

Fixed in host 0.0.11 (new deb). Was forced to update this morning and it fixed it.

I uninstalled the snap version today, and reinstalled the new deb, at the advice from Jak above. It's now currently working. Version is:
Stable 64952 (f65e21b)
Host 0.0.11
Linux 64-Bit (5.4.0-40-Generic)Glad it finally got fixed on my end.
