Suggestion : Steam emoticons built into Discord

After buying emotes on the summer sale, i thought, wouldn't it be cool to have the emotes be usable on Discord like it would on Twitch when you sub to a streamer? It could make connecting your Steam & Discord accounts more useful. I mean, they even use the same :emote: layout. This could just work for the non-free ones, but i'd like to hear some thoughts.
