How many updates do you need?
Had a group that wanted to bring me into a raid and I said "ok, I'll get Discord reinstalled". I downloaded the setup file (today) to make sure I had the latest version. I installed and "BAM", five updates totaling 20megs. I thought it was ok, so I let Discord load and it was maxing out my bandwidth.
I thought that didn't seem right, so I closed it and opened it back up and I'm hit with ANOTHER UPDATE. This one totaled 50megs. I thought "ok, must just be an error and it's fixing it. Then Discord crashed and wouldn't load, some kind of HTTP error that I can't find info on WHILE it's trying to download an update. My next thought "I'll just reinstall it", but instead of reinstalling, the installer itself wants to DOWNLOAD AN UPDATE. IT'S NOT EVEN INSTALLED!
Is this just some kind of joke? I've missed the raid now because I spent a half hour trying to figure it out and wait for updates that don't seem to do anything. Now I remember why I stopped using it. Can't you just code a program to work and let US download the updates when we are ready? This is actually worse than Dropbox.
