Discord Trust & Safety Team,
Hello! I hope you are having a great day. I don’t want to bother anyone, but this is very important. As you know, it is the period of Coronavirus, so many people use Discord to talk to their loved ones. I’m one of them. Today, I just got an email from Discord, saying:
Discord is focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for our community, and your account has been flagged by the Discord community for violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Our team has reviewed the claim and taken action by disabling your account.
Your account triggered our anti-spam countermeasures in one of the following ways: * sending a large number of unsolicited DM messages in a short span of time. * participating in a server dedicating to spamming Discord users * taking other actions on Discord — for example, joining a ton of servers — faster than humanly possible. “
This is unfair. I have never spammed, and I’ve been a loyal customer and user of Discord. I even got Nitro! Now, my account might be deleted, and I do not want that. I’ve tweeted you on Twitter about it, and filled out a support form. Since you all have merely disabled the account, is there a chance for recovery, or are you going to simply delete the account? I hope to hear back in a speedy and timely manner.
