Constant 10% CPU Usage
Discord is eating 10% of the CPU all the time. Tried hardware acceleration on and off, nothing helps. Windows is freshly installed.
System spec:
FX 8320, RX 580, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, Gigabyte 990FX gaming
Windows 10 OS version 2004 / build 19041.329

Same and I use FX 6300. Maby something with these processors are causing it? My games become very stuttery and unplayable when I'm in a voice call because of this...
Edit: I see other guy with Intel i7 have same issue so it's not the processor I think.

True on Linux as well. Even when Discord is sitting idle with no messaging going on at all. 10-12% of CPU usage. All day every day. Seems like something that needs some attention.

I had discord open for 3h 20m and it used 27h of cpu time.
Unacceptably high.
Edit: This is on a 3900x

One of the recent updates brags that they've improved CPU usage. It's true: they have. CPU usage is down to about 2% of CPU on my Linux machine. While I appreciate the progress, this is still insanely high. I mean, seriously, how many times a second does the thing need to check to see if there are new messages? CPU usage should be glued at 0% just about all the time.
