Option to keep notifications up until responded to or cleared.

I know my case is not very common for people, but I am very scattered and get distracted quite easily. This may be because of my issues with ADHD.

For me, when I click on a DM message for instance, I often get distracted and click away, which then hides the entire conversation. This causes me to forget about the DM and it annoys the person that I was talking to.

I would just like an option to keep the notification up until I respond to the message or until I clear it. It would make at least my life and everyone that I'm talking to's lives easier.
