Low Contrast Mode

I don't know about any other players, but I have a lot of serious issues reading or processing bright text on a dark background in dark mode and the harsh whites in light mode are migraine triggers and a horrible eye strain. A low contrast mode would be really nice, especially with tones of gray, even if it's just something like a screen filter to soften all the colors.

    I actually feel that it should be higher contrast, the current 8.5 contrast ratio is way too low to process text with my -4 vision and astigmatism. It seems as if they are purposefully not making it higher contrast despite there being a lot of headroom.
