Bugs on the mobile app (Android version)

Current discord mobile app (Android) is very buggy. It has a lot of performance issues. Discord doesn't run in the background like it used to before the update. It restarts every time I open another app and come back to it. The new tabs feature is laggy. It gets hard for me to use. Also the new interface looks a bit complicated. New users would face many troubles understanding it. I want the old discord to come back.

  My screen flickers black on and off for random amounts of time leaving my phone unresponsive and unable to do anything for significant periods of time when I enter voice chats
