Have discord NOT wipe entered text when submitted alongside a file and exceeding the character limit.
Let me just summarize my use-case:
I'm uploading, on PC, via the desktop application, an example image for a friend's perusal, and I include a textual description, typed off-the-cuff into the text input box that accompanies the image.
The text exceeds the 2,000 character limit, usually by a frustratingly small amount like 50 characters or whatever; nothing that could not be revised.
Discord tells me "please make your message 50 characters" shorter with only an "okay" box. I click the okay box, and everything I wrote is gone.
This is so far below "unideal" that words fail to describe how insanely frustrating it is. Unlike the normal text-chat box, this box neither informs you when you get close to the character limit, nor does it save the inputted text.
Preferably, it would do both, just like normal text entry.
