Game Detection on Linux
Discord seems to have a hard time with telling things apart on Linux (My distro is Ubuntu 20.04).
It detects my active game correctly and automatically, but it doesn't display the game icon nor its name correctly:
On my Windows 10 installation, Terraria shows up properly; icon and name.
This same issue is apparent with Minecraft as well. It detects the game properly but it doesn't display it properly.

I have the same problem. It uses the title of the game, in my case, "Minecraft* 1.17.1" is the title and shows up like that. It shows properly on Windows. I am using Kubuntu 21.10.

Same issue on Fedora WS 35 hehe. Super annoying for games that supports join through Discord.. Instead having to add players to friends is annoying when playing with rando, pls fix Discord!

It's sad how Discord just ignores Linux users' problems. It’s been 2 years and still an issue.

Why tf discord developers ignoring this issue? I am also a Linux user and this is not good, Looks like they don't care about Linux users

I found the solution! I use pop_os and i originally installed discord via flatpack, if you install it via something else it will work. Atleast it did for me. Hope it helps!
