"Close DM" button for the System Messages feature

Earlier I got a DM from "Discord#0000" for the Discord System Messages.

I thought that was a cool idea, but I later went to close the DM, but the function was missing.

Normally, DMs in your list have an X by them to close them if you don't want them on your screen.

This one did not.

I feel like we should be able to close these DMs... After we read a notice, we most likely won't need it anymore, it would be nice to be able to get rid of it to get it out of our DM list...

I understand that you wouldn't be able to get it back until you receive another System Message, so this might need a modal to confirm you're ok with it. Alternatively, there could be a button to move this DM to the bottom of the list. The objective is to clear it off the screen since I'm not gonna need it anymore.

    We should be able to close them. I'm not sure why the Discord team decided anyone that tinkered with a bot in the past now needs this version of digital herpes, but here we are. Do better, Discord. Let me remove this unnecessary eyesore.

    I have not touched a bot feature in the past like 5 months and never will again. Why can't we delete these exactly???

    I like closing any DM I won't/can't respond to, And not being able to close this one is extremely annoying and frustrating. And to make matters worse it has to have a bright blue SYSTEM badge that distracts me because it stands out too much. I haven't touched the bot system in about a year and never planed on doing so again. I was hoping that going through the links would auto close it but sadly no.

    Why not just make it so if you click the "Discord" text on the top left it opens the system DM? That way we can close and open it at will.

    Sent a report to discord...
    Got the message that this message is "too important".
    HELL YEAH it's important.
    But not so important to make it undeletable...
    At least give us the option to review the message later or something.
    This "Can't close the message" thing is annoying as it is excessive

    Never made it.

    Okay, so what I did was deleted all my applications then I restarted discord. Immediately, I could click the X and close the dms. I hope this helps if you never planned on touching your applications again!

    UPDATE:

    the feature was added. If you need to get the DM back open, find it  by pressing Ctrl+K and searching Discord#0000
