GIFS Performance

hello there.

 

i've been experiencing some slow and bad performance with my pc recently.

every time i bring up the GIFS interface and scroll down to find the one i'm looking for, my whole pc starts to run slow and respond very very slow. if i collapse the GIFS interface, the pc responds back normally, but a little slow performance.

 

i updated all my latest drivers, and the problem still continue. i even have to get rid of lots of gifs, and yet nothing works.

 

that's all done on google chrome on discord website, not sure if it's possible on desktop discord, but i can predict.

 

could there be other way displaying the GIFS interface/menu in a way to keep the computer performance balanced?

    That's happening to me as well. Whenever i open up the gif menu, my total ram usage goes up like 10% until it crashes. ( i have 8 gb)

    it's not just GIFS, the whole Emoji and GIFS

     

    is there maintenance going on?

    i like, just have 4gb of ram. and my disk usage goes 100% just the moment i open up the gift/emoji menu. jeez ._.

    I just started using Discord and the same is happening to me now (Feb. 2021). Still no idea what's up I suppose...
