Push to Half Deafen/Dampen VOIP

Hello there! My feedback request is actually pretty simple (on the surface). However I know making changes to an application is never easy. 

As a streamer, there are many times where I want to address my chat, but avoid two things. 

1. Leaving my mic open and everyone in the discord call hearing me address my community (rude)

2. Deafening them while I’m addressing my community, and missing something important call outs like “THE ROUND IS STARTING” or “YOU’RE SQAUD LEAD WHERE WE DROPPING”. 

I very often use the push to mute button. However, what I would love, is a ‘mute/dampen’ or ‘half deafen mute’ option. Where it you press and hold to mute your microphone and reduce incoming VOIP audio by 50%. Or maybe a % that the user specifies. That way, if your VOIP channel is still talking, you can still hear them faintly while half paying attention. Also, they can continue to talk and you can address your community, and your community can hear you over the other people.
