Being able to tell which server (and channel) is sending notifications

The most annoying aspect to Discord, for me anyway, is that there seems to be no way to tell which server (or channel) is sending notifications that someone has just posted a message.  I know that I can go through each server and change it so I don't hear a notification sound when a new message has been posted, but that honestly isn't very helpful if I want to be on top of discussions.

Not being able to tell which server (or channel) is currently sending notifications is like before Google Chrome added the functionality of seeing which tab is currently playing audio.

I understand that this isn't a problem for people who are on only a tiny handful of servers, but this is a similar thing to people saying that nobody should have more than 10 tabs open in Chrome.  Everyone and their dog seems to have a Discord server, and I don't want to be out of the loop.

Are there any plans on addressing this issue?  Is there already a way of dealing with this issue that I'm unaware of?
