Unnecessary white flash on app launch

The new app launch on iOS has an unnecessary white background that flashes the user’s eyes. Please fix this. The original gray or black would be greatly appreciated.

    Agreed, I feel blinded every time I turn on the app.

    yeah especially at night. dark mode is made to keep your eyes from burning so why does the load screen even have to be that way
