Allow disabling emoji markdown

I like to type text emoticons like >:( or :D, but recently I am unable. They get turned into emojis. I don’t like corporate emojis, only custom emotes.

    How to toggle this off:

     

    How?

    Go navigate over to User Settings   >   Text & Images   >   Automatically convert emoticons in your messages to emoji. 

    • Toggle that off!
