"Emoji Only" Server mode for Nitro users
Instead of increasing the server limit from 100, how about having the ability for Nitro users to join "Emoji Servers"? These can be any ordinary server but the user cannot access the server itself, only the emoji.
This would both lessen the server load (as youd need far less websocket shenanigans since its just emoji), and make nitro users happy that they dont need to wait 30 years for discord to load for their 100 servers to only talk in like 3 because emoji
How it can be implemented, id say when joining a server it can give the option to tick a box to make it so you join for emoji. And there could be a listing in your settings that lists all servers with emoji so you can see whats there outside of a server channel
[edit for clarity]
You would not need to create an entire new server for just emotes. The person joining can switch an ordinary server to be in "Emote-only" mode which would count towards its own limit and not show in the server list on the client. This would be nice to have for both cleaning up the server list, and easing on the discord servers themselves because the only things being loaded are just the emotes (so theres no message updates or user events whatsoever)

Yes. I would also like to add that if you were in mostly emoji servers, they shouldn’t count towards your total server count. Like say your in 10 normal servers, and 87 emoji servers, that 87 shouldn’t count towards your total 100.

poespas I know it doesnt use more websockets on the client, im talking about the server-side load, as this is why they currently cannot increase the amount of servers you can join. This idea could allow for users to be in servers without having any of the actual server messages being sent for the servers.
Also i wouldnt say its far-fetched at all to be in that many emoji servers. I mean, its pretty much what I do, and its also the main reason im unable to join any more servers. Sure, i could just leave them, but wheres the fun in that?

Just updated the original message for clarity on the intent of the idea.
