Allow Announcement channels to follow other Announcement channels

Currently, announcement channels are unable to receiver messages from other announcement channels. This creates a messy scenario where you have a followable announcement channel for the server, and a separate "external announcements" channel that's only used to follow other servers.

What I would like to see is something along the lines of:

"Announcement channels will receive messages from other Announcement channels, but will not publish to followers"

This way servers can consolidate to one channel for both internal and external announcements, without the possibility of a post being daisy chained across multiple channels.

    Something along the lines of this was what I was going to suggest.

    First of all I love the follow feature!

    I'd like to follow an announcement channel from another server and either add those announcements to the announcements of my own server or have an extra 'announcement channel' specifically for it, I could easily create it but I can't get the followed announcements to go in there.

    With the latter people in the server can choose which announcements to follow. [I wouldn't know if this would create a lot of dead servers though, because people wouldn't have to follow them for the announcements.]

    Yes !! I don't know why they haven't enabled this feature from the beginning but I sure hope they do in the near future !
