Without exception, the Discord Helper hangs on Mac.

That sometimes leads to overheating and fans ramping up.

I know this issue has been known for at least a year and discord was only able to say "sorry 'bout that".

Is there any intend to fix these bugs or develop a proper application?

Can't you employ real Mac developers and write a real application instead a bad wrapper around a webapp? The integration into the system is horrific and and behaves like no other application on mac.
