Discord turning blank whenever fullscreen app is opened

I am able to launch discord and it works just fine until I open a full screen application. After that, discord turns into a dark grey screen (color of launch screen not black) and has no buttons. The only way I can use discord if that happens is to close it using task manager and relaunching.
