Discord has two types of links when it comes to embedded media such as images and videos: media.discordapp.net and cdn.discordapp.com. I researched a bit and it turns out media.discordapp.net causes a lot, if not all, media files (specially videos) to not load or play. This is no problem in the desktop and browser versions, but currently on mobile (Android 11, using a Galaxy S10e), copying a link of a directly uploaded image or video (not by pasting a link), results in the link having the media.discordapp.net format. It is very annoying and frustrating having to manually change the links to the cdn.discordapp.com format everytime I (and many others) paste them. So my suggestion would be to change the format of the copied links on android (I'm not sure if it happens). Please change this, I waste a lot of time editing links everyday from my phone, almost makes me not want to use the android app.
