More Expressive Text Formatting

I've been meaning to send this idea along for a while, and I haven't heard anybody else bring it up, but I would like to suggest new formatting options for expression through text, mirroring those found in video games, including my two examples; OMORI and Super Paper Mario. 

The formatting could be some kind of as of now unused characters before and following a word, exactly like existing ones such as **bold** or __underline__, only it would be with ^carrots^ or !exclamation points!. 

The text wrapped in these would move about; it likely would not apply to emoji and the ability to disable it should always be available for anybody who is photosensitive, but I really believe that this feature would add an entirely new layer of expression to text with Discord!
