File type missed after uploading .png/.jpg files

With unknown conditions to trigger this, sometimes the attachment becomes a file without its extention, so the file couldn't be shown as a picture. The filenames are all legal English alphabet with numbers, and it happens to me with mobile App, up-to-date Chrome / Firefox and up-to-date desktop client.
