Different Notification Sounds

So this is a problem that's been said a thousand thousand times already, but I'll say it once more. It would be really, indescribably helpful if it were possible to have notification sounds be different depending on what they are. More specifically, it would be great if a direct message or an @ notification had a different sound from normal messages in a server. The number ticking up under my hotbar is all well and good, but actually hearing a distinct sound to know someone has sent me a direct message would be a godsend since, at this point, I basically don't even hear the normal notification sound anymore because of how often it plays for me in a day. I don't check all my messages because I don't really need to watch every channel in every server like a hawk, so knowing when someone is trying to get my attention would be great, and a lot of other people I know feel the same.
