A few of my friends dont appear when I try to invite them to call

Hi, this is a minor issue that i have been having, and there are work-arounds to this issue but whenever I attempt to invite someone to my call (see first image). one of my friends dont appear on the list when searching for them (second image) even though they are my friend (third image). Any clue what the issue is?

 

p.s. Yes i am aware that I can just copy the link and send it to them, but this is just bugging me.

  Did they just not join the call?
