Mobile has been down for around 5 hours and discord appears unaware

Around 5 hours ago, discord stopped working for mobile users. (infinite connecting)

Concerningly, discord is yet to have acknowledged this publicly and the only way to access discord as of typing this is through either the web app or through desktop. Making this post so that the discord devs are aware.


Worth noting that technically discord can still be used, however you will only see servers, channels, and messages that were sent prior to you starting the app. You can still send messages, but to receive new ones you must exit and restart the entire app to view them. This affects both iOS and Android devices.

    Can confirm and more. I can't even see my messages, chats or friend list. Even my username is messed up and saying EMPTY USERNAME. This is a major issue and I hope its addressed and fixed as soon as possible cause discord is the only app I have that I can communicate to certain friends with and I really hope that once its fixed I don't lose any data or friends get unfriended.

    I had and continue to have the same problem. The other person sees the messages I send before I see them, and sometimes the message is not visible to me at all. Although there is no problem with my internet connection, channels load slowly or sometimes not at all when switching between servers or server channels. I deleted and reinstalled the app but the problem persisted.
