Thread discoverability: Show in left sidebar

Unless you're pulled into a thread, it's impossible to see whether a thread has been created without either seeing the "thread created" message or checking the menu in the top bar. That button suffers from "banner blindness" (people in my server have described failing to notice it even exists), and there's not even a "new thread created" indicator on it. It would be nice for discoverability if threads would show up in the left sidebar *without* having actually joined them. (Perhaps this would make sense as an option.) Context menu actions to mute and/or hide threads would be essential, of course.

  I second this. It's going to be very difficult to moderate threads if I can't clearly see that they exist. Just seeing a little icon on the channel isn't enough.
