Curently, we’re notified at every message sent in a thread, even if you muted the server. As we can do with text channels, we should be able to configure when we want to be notified by a thread.

  You can already set that manually in a thread by hitting the Bell icon in the top right corner. What we really need though is for threads to respect the default notification setting for text channels on a server. Even if you completely mute all notifications on a server, you still get notifications for all messages in all threads you are added to.

  On iOS, at least, you don’t have this bell to set up notifications preferences.

  I agree.

  Mute mechanics need to be inherited from thread, channel, category and server level.

  The same should be the case for notification mechanics (all, mentions only, nothing) to be inherited from channel, category and server level unless specified differently by the user.
