Threads are overriding even Server-level Notification settings
I sent a message in a server. Someone else created a thread off of that message.
I was automatically subscribed to notifications for it (which I guess is reasonable, but is also not something I desired). I went into the thread and set Notification Settings to Nothing. I then also went to the Server, and completely muted it.
I am still getting an unread badge (On the Discord desktop icon, and within the Discord app for that specific Server, and within that Server for the specific Thread) for new messages in that thread. That shouldn't happen.

Hey,
yea that needs to be changed I have the same problem that the server notification. They get overwritten on threads.
And thats not cool becasue many people and me have turned on @mentions only in server notification settings for example and in a thread its turned to all messages by default.
Thats not so good.
If a user stays in the thread and go afk for a bit the mobile phne gets spammed full of notifications if thats enabled.
Please discord rework that 🙏1 -
Threads need to default to the notification level of their parent channel unless otherwise changed.
