It's been years and nothing changed, let us disable Active Now with a Toggle On/Off function.

There have been many many post about it and 2years+ later nothing have been done about it.

The Active Now section when looking at your friend list is extremely annoying and quite frankly quite useless as you can see all that information by either hovering over any servers or you know just looking at your friends, which are literally right beside the Active Now panel.

Can we please, years later, have a way to toggle that "feature" on and off please ?

Edit: I was trying everything to remove it to make sure i didn't make this post for nothing and it turns out there's some kind of "band aid fix", if you resize your discord window to be smaller at a certain size the Active Now panel will go away. It's not ideal as i like to have Discord bigger than that but i guess that's better than nothing.

Having a toggle function would still be much better.
