why did my account got warned for reporting a potential scammer?

So, a few days ago i got a text message from someone who claimed to have a free Discord nitro generator, he said after using it it will restart discord and i need to log back in, so i played along to get more information for the proof screenshots i provided in my report.

So today i got a warning from discord for falsely or massively reporting someone, and i was just trying to help and remove a potential threat from discord

And now im too scared to ask the support, because if they warn me for this, they surely wont like someone crying about consequences. This isn't supposed to be a "aaah im all innocent" post, but i would just like to understand why this action got taken.
