Nitro 100 megabite rule
I make memes occasionally for my server to enjoy and get a laugh, and it's hard when you only have an 8 Mega bite allowance. Trying to send a meme with a 40-megabyte budget will make my memes better quality. Unfortunately, to reduce the size, I need to go onto an MB reducer website which lowers the quality of the graphics and the volume. And it is just absurd that you need to pay $100 to get a 1200% raise in upload size. So raising non-nitro users upload allowance by 500% will impact Discord users like me positively.

It isn't free to upload data to their servers. Discord has 150 million users, some are inactive, don't upload files, or have nitro. If 15 million of those free users frequently upload things that are 8mb about 15 times a month. Then it is upgraded to 40mb for all of those 15 million free users. The amount of data uploaded to Discord goes from 1800000000mb or 1800tb a month, to 9000000000mb or 9000tb. That is a huge increase and doesn't even factor in the millions more free users. Now realistically some of those users probably don't upload as frequently or they don't upload big files that are just under the limit. But this upgrade still would cost Discord lots of money and could be abused.
