Unable to delete message in archived thread

Similar to https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4405198315415-Delete-message-in-thread-, there should be a way to delete my own message in an archived thread. I have to unarchive the thread for the option to appear except if a moderator archives, only a moderator can unarchive. (True on mobile and desktop). This is troubling if someone posts sensitive information by mistake and is no longer able to delete it.
