Immediate replies

In a scenario where I'm posting something, then would like to follow up that post with further, clarifying information in the form of a reply (to signify a relation between the two posts), it doesn't make sense to me that the second post links back to the first one. Ideally, you would have the little "reply bar" on the left just stretch up to the previous post, similar to a twitter or reddit reply. Example here: http://imgur.com/a/YyfdoTw
