Custom channel icons

Hello. I wanted to make a proposal to improve the discord. I've been using discord for a long time and this option hasn't been introduced yet. It's about adding your own icons to the names of voice and text channels. Currently, only universal icons work, but it would be nice to introduce such a possibility for server owners to add their own graphics / icons. :)

    Yes! Custom channel icons would be really nice!

    I have seen some servers prefix their channel names with different emoji, to differentiate between different channels at a glance and to break the monotony of just having a list with a lot of text in the channel list.

    This is a sort-of workable workaround, but it breaks the channel-switcher in a subtle way, namely this: if I'm in a server where the General channel is still called "general" but it is prefixed with some emoji/unicode character, that means that if I hit Ctrl+K to access the quickswitcher and type "general", it will list "general" channels in other servers where the name is _not_ prefixed with an emoji before the one that has the emoji. If I am in more than 5 servers that have channels called exactly "general", the one I'm looking for will not show up in the list if there is no unread activity in it.
