Feedback - Threads

The way they've been implemented is utter garbage. Why do they auto-archive? Why do they require a name? Why should anyone pay for the privilege? Threads are standard in Slack, MS Teams, etc and are implemented in a much better fashion. The implementation of Threads is just about the worst thing about Discord, and I love this application a whole lot more than aforementioned competitors. 

I will never use this feature until it is easy, intuitive, FREE and well-implemented. Otherwise it's just a feature that is uselessly sitting there, like an animal that your housemate moved in with but over time you start to slowly despise it for everything that it is and everything that it could be.
