in app player for twitter video embeds has been gone

for a bit now videos from twitter would only embed as still images, but before, an in app video player was a thing, obviously inconvenient that it´s gone. if this is due to something from twitters side, I´m sure that could be worked around as there are methods of getting the media files in a format that can be embedded. like how someone made something that´d let the embed function properly if "fx" is put in front of the url of the twitter link https://github.com/robinuniverse/twitfix

I´m pretty sure everyone is experiencing this but if not, just gonna add that I´m on windows 10 using the desktop application of discord.
