Option for In-Game Overlay to be used out of game.

So I was thinking, since Discord is aiming to be more or less a general platform for any type of social group, it'd make sense to have an option for the overlay of Discord when you're in game able to be seen when you're not looking at discord but aren't in a game either. If you're in a voice call with friends you don't know who joins unless if you look at discord, and for people with one screen this becomes time consuming. With this overlay option available in non-game environments then people who only have one screen or can only use one screen at the moment would be able to continue doing what they were focused on without needing to spend an extra couple of seconds moving over to discord in order to see what's going on. This would allow a more seamless interaction and or reaction to certain things such as pings or to someone joining your call, as all you have to do is look at the overlay instead of switching between the apps or tabs you have open.
