Photos taken in Discord Android not saving to photo album

Current android software and discord, Note 10. Used to take a photo in Discord and be able to share it to other users or servers later. I was also able to see those images outside of Discord. Now I have to go back and download the picture before it shows in my photo gallery. Please restore original functionality. Discord isn't my only chat app.

    Hi Phoenix if you're using a Samsung open gallery and go to albums if its not there you can get back to me

    The image is not on the gallery. Just took a new photo in Discord to test. The photo posted to the server where I took it but isn't available for anywhere else. It doesn't show in DMs, text messages, gallery, or even other channels in the same server.

    Same here on a Oneplus. I tap the + and then tap the camera icon and I can take a picture that I can choose to upload, retake, or delete but after I upload it, the image is not saved on my phone anywhere. It's just gone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Discord, no dice.

    I am also having this issue. I take a photo, and it's no where to be found on my phone (a samsung galaxy).

    I'm having the same issue (Samsung Galaxy S10) I've gone through all settings I can to see if it was switched off but still can't get photo to save when taken in Discord.

    same issue but for me it's a video, but i already found a solutions and that is to screen record the whole thing and for the image issue i just screenshot it

    edit: Redmi note 9 not pro

    Same with me, samsung gallery, or any other third party gallery in that matter does not have access to /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.discord/files/Pictures/Discord where all of the photos are saved. You can check by yourself with File Manager + (s20fe)
