Disable the Ability for Strangers to Private Message You
I think it would be great to gain the ability in privacy settings to make it so only friends can message you, or so that only friends and people from the servers you're a part of can message you.
I don't remember if this was an option before, but now that scammers with unsafe links are more rampant on Discord I think it would be a good addition. Just the other day I received a message from someone telling me I won free cryptocurrency who wasn't even in any of my current servers. At least if I get a scammer from a shared server, I can report them to the server's moderators or change it so members from those servers can't message me.
In addition to that, I've had someone I knew personally in the past make new accounts to try to get in contact with me because I blocked their main account. I want to be safe in knowing that nobody can message me unless they're on my friend list or unless they're in my shared discord communities.
Thanks for taking the time to listen!

It is already a feature.
Settings > Privacy and safety > Allow direct messages from server members
If they don't share a server with you, they already cannot message you

I had that feature enabled for at least several months now, but a stranger was still able to reach out to me 3 days ago who had never been on my friend list and who I don't share any servers in common with. Here's a screenshot of the start of the DM if it helps: https://i.imgur.com/mBxerzV.png
If you're right and nobody can message me who isn't a friend or in a server with me, maybe the user had just started writing their message when we were in a server together, I left a server, then the user finished writing and sending the message? That's the only explanation I can think of.
Either way, thanks for the info, I'll see if I get any other weird messages from people who don't have any servers in common with me.
