Is it a scam message??

I got a message from my friend saying something about discord is going to be closed. The message is:

Read this carefully this is a message from the discord creator and I’m going to tell you a little bit about what will happen on discord on March 23rd Please do not send this back to the person you received it from. Dear discord members, discord is supposed to close April 22nd because it has become too populated. There have been many members complaining that discord has become very slow. There are many active members of discord, but also many new members. We will send this message to see if the members are active or not. If you are active, please copy and paste this to 15 other users to show that you are still active. Those who do not send this message within 2 weeks will be deleted without hesitation to make more space. Send this message to all your friends to show that you are still active and that you will not be delete.

It's been almost 2 months and the message is still not deleted. I have a picture for proof. They even gave me a google meet link. Am I going to get hacked if I open that meet link?

    Also, there is a few grammatical errors in the message of which imply that it indeed is a fake/scam.

    Scam. Discord will communicate with you via an independent chat, not sending shit to other people.

    You'll know when they are the ones sending stuff since you won't be able to send text and you will see a big banner saying THIS IS AN OFFICIAL DISCORD CHANNEL replacing the textbar.

    Also, I hope the link they sent isn't related to this. If it is, report the link to google since it's probably malicious.
