Waving

Can we get an option to toggle whether the waving is active in a server or not? I personally find it very annoying and I’ve spoken with a lot of others who do. It takes up too much space and breaks up conversations. I understand that some people may like the option, but we should at least have the ability to shut it off if we want.

  Yes, it is very distracting when a new visitor shows up and somebody clicks the WAVE... and the annoying gif starts bouncing around.   At least the random system greetings are not quite so dumb-ass as I recall from earlier...  I wish my server had just one greeting, saying something like speak up for membership.....So, two issues for me, the WAVE and the system greetings....
