Make threads and channels be able to turn into eachother

Biggest issue servers always run into: Not being able to archive channels easily, threads basically fixes that issue for making less important channels that can be archived, but sometimes you also realize you made a mistake on making a thread and now it needs to be a full channel, or the other way around where sometimes you start a channel, it gets used a bit, kinda wanna save it for another time though, but the only solution is that best case scenario is you can only make it so everyone but owner/mods can see it.

    I really really support this idea. In my server, we have almost 50 channels from the last 3 years just sitting in our archives and I would love to be able to properly archive them. I think threads also is a perfect segway to making this possible, hopefully, Discord finds this idea good as well.

    This would be great. Sometimes the content of a thread becomes so much, it deserves to be a full channel. And sometimes channels no longer deserve to be a channel and should be downgraded to a thread of another channel. +++++
