If switching between text chats, if there is unread messages in the channel it doesn't save your place properly

If you are switching between discord channels (doing something like mass copy pasting images from one channel to the other) typically when switching between the channels it saves your place each time you scroll up or down like you think it would, however only specifically if you have unread messages at the bottom of the channel it starts to mess up and every time you go back to that channel it would put you back to where you were when you entered the channel for the first time. It fixes itself if you hit the "mark as read" bar at the top.
