Running Discord on older Apple Laptops

I tried installing the latest update of the Discord app, but it will no longer run on my older laptop. I had to delete it, create a new Discord account, new email account to create the new Discord account, and then use the desktop. Is there a way to get the old version back? Thanks

    You can install the only problem is that it keeps saying installation currupt with no going back even tho you did everystep that it says on the article

    Ya, something is wrong with 0.0.264 and old OS Xs.  My Dicord is broken on Sierra (10.12.6) but works in Mojave (10.14.6).  I get a "Sandbox Violation" error, probably having to do with the gpu.

    Hope this gets fixed.
