No way to disable high contrast appearance when using a high contrast system theme
The most recent update has forced discord to use my system's high contrast theme in lieu of the usual styles, and I haven't been able to find a way to disable it other than disabling the theme in my windows settings. My theme makes discord much less usable, but I'd prefer not to disable it for the rest of my system.

This must be fixed IMMEDIATELY.

Same issue, high contrast theme is forced on Discord and while the ui is still usable, it's only barely.

I'm having this issue on the windows app as well. Can you please change it back to not use windows theme settings for discord's appearance?

I also have the same problem.
Admittedly it is neat to see my graphite and neon green system colors in a semi-minimalist way in Discord.
But it's annoying after the first 15 minutes.
If I were able to customize the colors of UI elements on my own I would have no problem.
But whatever happened this patch today seems to be a problem for many of the high contrast folks like us.
Provided below is a example of what my problem is, with names and server name obfuscated for privacy.
I hope this gets resolved soon (Additionally channel notification blips are also inoperable in this color scheme)
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem.
Slight concerns,
Moof Keilor.

I have the EXACT same issue, I don't want to disable high contrast for the rest of my system.
With Discord being in High Contrast, I cannot see where messages are, there is no text being highlighted in white when new essages appear, it's driving me crazy clicking through EVER single server AND channel to find it.7 -
-r Hit Windows key; type "high contrast"; Turn on High Contrast (any will do); Open discord
-e Selecting dark or light theme should modify Discord's theme independently from computer theme unless 'sync with computer' is checked.
-a No matter which theme is checked, theme does not change from Window's high contrast theme. Window background, Text boxes, Numerical message notification alert bubbles, mouse-over highlights all have the same color.

Same here. Hopefully this gets fixed faster than the 2-4 WEEKS it took for them to uncouple using high contrast with forcing on the reduced motion setting.

I was already beginning to think that I was the only one and was afraid that it would never be fixed...
