Discord should bring back Verified Developer Badge.

WHY SHOULD IT BE BROUGHT BACK?

I am a Discord Developer currently working on a moderation bot. While making a public, non-profit application, I do admit that it can be hard to lose motivation. One thing that motivated me though is the Verified Developer Badge. It is a great way to show that you are the developer you claim to be which feels rewarding and gives the Dev a sense of success. Having it removed means less new developers like me are going to bother working on a bot meaning that Discord might potentially be missing out on otherwise useful bots.

HOW SHOULD IT BE BROUGHT BACK?

The reason why Discord removed the badge is because of account selling, however, I say, the badge must be manually given out to make sure that the people who actually do work on a bot have a chance to get the badge. Also, account selling has nothing to do with the badge since it was/will still take place and now that the badges are unobtainable, there is just going to be more demand for the existing ones. I am sure that there are other reasons why this probably will never happen but if the issue is account selling, then that's a whole another problem to deal with, and if removing the badge has done something, it's my motivation being thrown away.
