Performance Issues related to server list

When using discord normally, it idles at around 0.5 - 1.5% CPU usage, however when I hover my mouse over a server icon, it will spike upwards of 25% CPU usage and drop back to normal, this happens again when I move my mouse off the icon as well. If I'm scrolling through my servers with my mouse over the list, the usage can climb up to 70% and makes any game I'm playing grind to a halt.

The only way I can browse my server list is if I put my mouse in the sliver of space where I can scroll without touching any servers

Is this a known bug I couldn't find? Are there any fixes for this? Are there any similar issues?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
