Locking forum posts

I recently stumbled across a certain post on the feedback forums. For some reason the API topic was used to report an underage user, amd despite repeated attempts to dissuade people from replying to an offtopic post, there were numerous replies of other underage reports.

There should be an option for moderators to lock posts that are obviously steering off-course but may contain useful information, and also to reassign topics if required.   Currently Locking a post is effectively archiving it which is not how it supposed to work.

  Locked post should be disabling any new replies, not archiving

  I currently need a forum post pinned and locked...

  Maybe the possibility to manage permissions by post like on channel can be a good feature. For exemple removing possibility to send message into a specific post depending of the role
